Questions riders ask before this trip
Ferry Point Park–East 34th links the Bronx waterfront to Midtown in 34 to 41 minutes on the dated holiday table, with Soundview and East 90th in between. The ride is the simple part. At Ferry Point, free parking helps, but the long park approach and limited weekday shuttle deserve as much planning as the boat.
How early should I arrive for the Ferry Point Park–East 34th ferry?
Reach the landing before departure with your ticket ready and confirm the boat continues through Soundview and East 90th to East 34th. Boarding is first-come. At Ferry Point, add enough time for the park path or shuttle; arriving at the parking lot is not the same as reaching the gangway.
