Questions riders ask before this trip
Atlantic Avenue–Wall Street via South Brooklyn is the tiny harbor hop: consecutive stops and 4 to 8 minutes on the dated holiday table. St. George also serves these landings consecutively, so compare the qualified schedules and queues; the routes differ in where their boats continue beyond this shared direct segment.
How early should I arrive for the South Brooklyn ferry from Pier 6 to Wall Street?
Reach the landing before departure with your ticket ready and confirm South Brooklyn. Boarding is first-come. St. George also runs directly between these landings, so at Pier 11 join the queue for the qualified departure you chose.

Neither is a sensible parking destination. NYC Ferry says parking is very limited near most landings and discourages driving. Reach Pier 6 by bus, train plus walking or bike, and Pier 11 by downtown subway, bus, bicycle or walking.

Yes, while rack space remains. NYC Ferry vessels generally carry about eight to ten bicycles and may stop accepting them when full. Both landings have racks and nearby Citi Bike docks, which can be simpler for this very short ride.

Both routes run directly between Atlantic Avenue and Wall Street because those landings are consecutive on each service. Their schedules, Pier 11 queues and wider through-routing differ, so choose by the qualified live arrival rather than assuming one route label means a detour on this segment.
