Questions riders ask before this trip
Corlears Hook–Wall Street is the quick downtown piece of South Brooklyn: consecutive waterfront stops and 5 to 8 minutes on the dated holiday table. It can beat the awkward land connection handily, but Pier 11's route queues and Corlears Hook's park approach still deserve more attention than the sailing itself.
How early should I arrive for Corlears Hook–Wall Street?
Reach the landing before departure with your ticket ready and confirm South Brooklyn. Boarding is first-come. At Pier 11, join the route-specific queue; at Corlears Hook, include the park approach rather than timing from the Cherry Street bus stop.

The regular NYC Ferry fare is currently $4.50 one way, bought in the app or at a landing machine. The stops are consecutive and require no transfer. A ride back needs another fare because a round trip is not a free transfer.

Neither is a sensible ferry-parking destination. NYC Ferry says space is very limited near most landings and discourages driving. Use Lower East Side buses, bicycle or walking for Corlears Hook, and downtown subway, bus, bicycle or walking for Pier 11.

Yes, if the rack still has room. NYC Ferry vessels generally carry about eight to ten bicycles and may stop accepting them when full. Both ends have nearby Citi Bike docks, which may be simpler than taking a personal bike on this short hop.

Yes. The two landings are consecutive on South Brooklyn. Toward Brooklyn, use Pier 11's printed departure column rather than the earlier arrival column for a through boat's downtown dwell.

NYC Ferry's September 28 through October 2, 2026 Sukkot timetable ranged from 5 to 8 minutes across both directions. That was a dated holiday pattern; use the arrival attached to your exact departure for another date.

NYC Ferry lists the 2/3 at Wall Street, J/Z at Broad Street and 1 at South Ferry, plus several downtown buses. The landing is on the East River esplanade, not inside a station, so include the walk from the subway.

The landing is south of the East River Park amphitheater. NYC Ferry lists the M22 and M14A at Cherry and Jackson streets, the M21 at Grand Street and FDR Drive, and nearby Citi Bike docks. There is no subway at the gangway.
