Questions riders ask before this trip
Tiburon is a small landing with a very good ride attached. The boat is straightforward. Finding paid parking and arriving with the right payment method are the bits that catch newcomers, so settle both before walking to the dock.
How early should I arrive for the Tiburon ferry?
Allow about 20 minutes for a first trip, especially when parking. The gate closes one minute before departure. Tiburon feels compact until you're paying at a meter while the boat loads.

Use Clipper or an accepted contactless bank card if you can. Tiburon has no ticket machine. Anyone set on a paper ticket needs to buy it at the San Francisco terminal in advance.

Yes, but expect to pay. Downtown Tiburon has public lots near the landing and metered street spaces, not a dedicated free commuter lot. Budget time to park, pay, and walk over.

Yes, first come and only while space lasts. Walk the bike through the terminal and aboard, then store it where the crew directs. E-bikes and electric scooters must stay powered off. There is no reserved rack waiting for you.

The landing is at the foot of Tiburon Boulevard downtown. Navigate there, then use one of the nearby public lots. Don't waste time looking for a separate terminal complex because there isn't one.

Yes. Arrive about 20 minutes early and ask a terminal employee if you want to pre-board. The operator doesn't require an explanation of your disability. A clear request for help is enough.
